Anniversary Boat Shoe

In 1971, Mike’s father began handsewing moccasins in Brunswick, Maine. Mike learned the craft from him, and carries it forward today, with three generations of the family carrying the name. This year, as the country marks 250 years, we built something to mark it the way we know how: by hand. The Read, in a colorway we’ll make once, with a commemorative stamp inside the sock liner. Full-grain pull-up leather, unlined for sockless wear, non-marking siped soles, leather heel laces. Handcrafted in Brunswick using our true Handsewn Moccasin construction.
